Derek Burnside

Derek BurnsideDerek Burnside has served on the Leadership and Staff Teams at Belmont Chapel Exeter for the last 21 years. Before that he was a UCCF Staff Worker, and before that an RE teacher in a large comprehensive school.

In addition to his Belmont duties he teaches A-level Ethics at Exeter School and serves as a council member with the Keswick Convention. In September 2017 he will start a new job, as Principal of Capernwray Bible School in Lancashire.  He is married to Penny, an Education Officer for the Diocese of Exeter.
